Robert (Bob) Pernitsky Robert (Bob) Pernitsky passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at age 70. Bob was married 26 years to the former Glenda Kaufman. He is survived by his four children, Becky(Eric) Wall, Rene’ (Rich) Petritis, Bobby Pernitsky and Debbie Pernitsky as well as seven grandchildren, Melissa & Matthew Petritis, Kate, Beth & Eve Wall, and Madeline & Max Pernitsky. He is also survived by his brother Vince (Judy) Perns and sisters Rosemary Kennedy and Juliann (Jonathon) Bortz as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Vince and Rose Pernitsky and in-laws Ted and Irene Kaufman. Bob served in the U.S. Army 3+ years and was a proud member of the 101st Airbourne. He later joined the Chicago Police Dept. and retired after 30+ years of service. In honoring Bob’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
